DYNASOLVE CU-5 GEL
SAFETY CLEANING SOLVENT GEL

 GENERAL:
Dynasolve CU-5 is a unique solvent that was developed for use in cleaning urethane residues, crystallized isocyanates, and cured hot melt from various types of polyurethane processing equipment. For some applications, however, a liquid cleaner did not perform well because the part could not be soaked in the solvent and/or the solvent would run off of the surface after being sprayed on. For these applications, Dynasolve CU-5 was developed into a gel form. This gel can be placed onto any surface, even vertical surfaces, and be allowed to remain in place to penetrate the urethane or adhesive. The gel can later be wiped off easily removing the cured material underneath. Dynasolve CU-5 GEL is a non-chlorinated, nonflammable (per DOT), non-carcinogenic, non-ozone depleting solvent product designed to replace solvents such as methylene chloride, acetone, MEK, and 1,1,1-trichloroethane.

 APPLICATIONS:
1.  Dynasolve CU-5 GEL is very effective in penetrating, loosening, and removing cured urethane foam deposits and buildup from mixing heads, troughs, conveyor parts, side walls, rollers, foam cutting devises and molds.
2.  Dynasolve CU-5 GEL will dissolve all types of urethanes: flexible, rigid, elastomer, or molded. Effective for both MDI and TDI esters and ethers.
3. Dynasolve CU-5 GEL will completely dissolve residual cured reactive hot melt (RHM) urethane adhesives from roller coating equipment, including the rolls themselves.
4.  Dynasolve CU-5 GEL is excellent for the removal of polymer-based inks from flexographic printing equipment.
5.  Dynasolve CU-5 GEL can be used to remove urethane residue build-up from moulds.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

1. For Residue or Buildup Removal:

Brush Dynasolve CU-5 GEL unto the cured urethane or hot melt. Let soak until material is loosened and can be wiped or brushed off

2. Materials of Construction:

Recommended: Teflon, butyl rubber, silicon rubber, Kalrez, mild steel, Halar, melamine, Nylon 101, polyethylene, polypropylene

Avoid: Viton, PVC, ABS, Buna-N, Durel, Hypalon, Kynar, Lexan, Lucite, Neoprene, Noryl EN-265, Noryl 731, PET, phenolic, polyester, polysulfone, polyurethane, Ultem, Valox

CAUTION:
Dynasolve CU-5 GEL contains powerful organic solvents. Refer to MSDS before use or disposal.
